Manylion y digwyddiad

A programme of sacred ‘a cappella’ music stretching across the ages – starting with Tallis, Palestrina and Viadana, then Purcell and Handel, moving through Duruflé, and ending up with Pärt,  Gudjohnsen and Gjeilo.

All of these composers had a common aim of producing music that would principally be beautiful, often based around chants or chant-like motifs.

Let’s hope we don’t undo all their good work!!

Scaramella Singers will be conducted by Matthew Bale, and the concert will feature Marilyn Allen and Gareth Davies as soloists.

St Brynach’s Church, Nevern on 14th April, starting at 4pm.

Tickets are £10 on the door.

There will be a collection for Paul Sartori at the end, followed by tea and cakes in the Church Hall (voluntary donations welcome for these).
