National Meadows Day takes place on the first Saturday of July each year and celebrates the pleasure and health benefits of our meadows. It is a chance to visit meadows at their best, to have fun and raise awareness of this vanishing habitat and the species diversity it supports.

Magnificent Meadows Cymru will be at Scolton Manor, Haverfordwest on Sunday 4th July 2021, 9:00am – 3pm.

You are welcome to drop in on the day, though some events will require advanced booking. Café and other facilitates will be open. Bring your picnic blanket and join us in a celebration of everything meadows!

9:00am – Dawn Meadow Yoga
Greet the sun with local yoga teacher, Beth Walton and realign mind & body to reconnect & remember that we are nature.

10:00am — Magnificent Meadow Meander

1:00pm — Magnificent Meadow Meander

Join site manager Simon Richards & Magnificent Meadow Cymru’s Lucia Chmurova to learn about managing community meadow space

11:00am — Meadow: a Home for Insects

2:00pm — Meadow: a Home for Insects

Explore the world of insects with Liam Olds, Buglife
